Only the best
Why Tawa Montessori Preschool
It is not difficult to be good at something these days! In New Zealand, licensed early childhood centres are guided by regulations set by law and criteria set by government bodies. Meeting expectations, as set by the Ministry of Education, is not remarkable.
All licensed early childhood centres, private or community owned, profit or non-profit, kindergartens, childcare centres or preschools, have to meet the regulations and criteria and offer the same standard of care and the same curriculum called Te Whaariki. This is audited, and reviewed by our government agencies, ensuring that the standards are met. This means that any family accessing an early childhood centre that is regulated by the government receives a good service.
But being good is not good enough! Your child deserves better! The preschool years are critical years for brain development and if your child is going to spend part of their precious early childhood years in an early childhood centre, you want that centre to be more than good, you want it to be exceptional. A centre that goes beyond regulations and criteria, beyond standard care and a standard curriculum, a centre that leads, rather than complies, a centre that is remarkable!
